Foam Roller Hamstring Bridge
Exercise Overview
The foam roller hamstring bridge is used to strengthen the hip extensors. Start by placing your feet on a foam roller at roughly shoulder distance apart. The knees should be bent to roughly 110 degrees in the starting position. To do this exercise correctly, it is important to keep the core braced and spine neutral. Engage the hip muscles by driving the heels down into the foam roller and lifting the pelvis off of the ground. Hold the peak of the movement for up to 2 seconds before slowly lowering the pelvis back to the ground.
