Exercise Overview
Dips are a bodyweight strengthening exercise used to improve pushing strength through the chest, triceps, and shoulder girdle. Clinically, they may be used in later-stage rehabilitation or conditioning when adequate shoulder stability, mobility, and pain-free loading tolerance are present.
