Exercise Overview
The heel elevated squat is a modified squat that makes the movement easier for people with limited ankle dorsiflexion or difficulty maintaining an upright squat posture. It is commonly used in rehabilitation to improve squat mechanics, strengthen the quadriceps and gluteal muscles, and build confidence with knee-dominant loading.
