Seated Rhomboid Stretch
Exercise Overview
The seated rhomboid stretch is used to increase the flexibility of the scapular retractors. Start by sitting on a padded surface on the floor. Bend both knees to about 90 degrees and keep them about shoulder width apart. Place each elbow on the inside of their respective knees and place the back of your hands against each other with your fingers point down. Squeeze your knees together to pull your shoulders inwards and feel a stretch into your upper back.
