Supine Cable Pullover

Exercise Overview

The supine cable pullover exercise is a back strengthening exercise. To get started you will need to set up an incline bench to roughly 30 to 45 degrees with the headrest pointed towards the cable pulley machine. Set up the height of the cable pulley to the height of your hands when they are stretched out above your head (arms are perpendicular to the floor). While lying down on the incline bench face up, hold onto a rope attachment that is fixated to the cable pulley. Starting with your arms vertical to the floor, pull the cable towards your hips while maintaining straight arms. Return back to the starting position to complete a repetition.
