Exercise Overview

WALL BLOCK ISOMETRIC INTERNAL ROTATION The wall block isometric internal rotation is a strengthening exercise for the rotator cuff. Start by leaning your back against a wall. Raise the elbow up to 90 degrees shoulder abduction and rotate the shoulder into roughly 45 degrees internal rotation. Sandwich a yoga block between the wall and your hand. Press your hand into the yoga block with maximal tolerable effort for 4-8 seconds. Rest for 4-8 seconds between repetitions.
